Not too sure where all the negative reviews are coming from, but I guess to each their own. Having this pizza joint close to home, it has been our go to when we just don't feel like cooking. So far since we first started coming here for a slice or two, we've always had a very good experience. The $10 combo for two slices plus a can of sods is always a hit! Size and flavor of the pizza is also pretty consistent.

I'm only reviewing my takeout experience as I did not dine in. I also only ordered the garlic knots (which I heard were good) and pistachio cannoli. The garlic knots were good- I like that you can order 2 instead of being forced to order a ton (because yes I will eat them all if so). Lots of parsley and butter which I love, could be softer but I'm sure if I reheated it in the air fryer it would be right as rain. As for the pistachio cannoli- it was okay, I've had better. This one was also on the smaller side and it didn't have a ton of flavor. Not worth it for $4.25. I would recommend the cannolis at the Eagle Rock Italian Bakery- theirs is bigger and have a lot more delights inside. The shell there also has more crunch. The one at Bub and Grandma's was a little soft. (In the photo, I added my own chocolate chips for more flavor). I will have to try the pizza next time as I only ordered these because I had already ordered food from Joy across the street. I'm glad they have the option for slices of pizza because sometimes you don't want a whole pizza.

Great New York-style pizza, available by the slice at an walk-up counter (and therefore dog friendly :). There’s limited seating outside on the sidewalk. The crust is as great as you’d imagine from Bub and Grandma’s. As others have noted, the pies are sauce-forward, a little light on the cheese. The ingredients and toppings I thought were great quality. Now that the initial buzz has died down, wait times are a lot more reasonable. Great addition to the neighborhood, much better than Town Pizza was.

i like this place a lot!! very grateful to have a place in the neighborhood where i can walk up and get a couple slices of pizza. i’ve been multiple times; ive never had to wait more than 10 minutes (closer to ten if i order the garlic knots which are delicious btw xx). one of these days ill try the wings, maybe even order a whole pie (ambitious) pizza is pretty decent. yes, maybe it could cost less; maybe it could taste even better, but i’m pretty satisfied with how it is, in its current state. great service too. lots of cuties.

The pizza is excellent. I got the potato white pie. It was nice and clean, not heavy, the crust was airy and chewy due to the sourdough. The potatoes were cooked well and I liked the fried rosemary with the cheese. The wait didn't take too long and the staff is nice. They will eventually have dine in from what I read, also logistics will probably improve too once they figure it out. For now you can eat outside but it's limited space. Great new pizza spot that I want to come back and try the Bolognese next!
